The Scoop: *PersephoneStock and I are hosting our very first contest!


It's called the "Good Girl vs. Bad Girl Contest", and it's pretty open ended so you shouldn't have much trouble being creative.

And now we have an example of a deviation that we would accept for our contest theme. It was made by the lovely *PersephoneStock.

EXAMPLE:

She didn't tell me exactly what she meant by it yet, but I have my assumptions. As I'm sure you may have yours.

The contest is vague, but I want you to be CREATIVE.
All we're REALLY looking for here is opposites.

The Objective:

Our idea is for you to create an image that portrays quite obviously, a "good" girl, and a "bad" girl. How you choose to interpret this is at your own discretion. Examples may include light/dark, naughty/nice, summer/winter, big/small or any other other kinds of opposites. Or you can go off in a completely different direction as long as you can convince us it follows the theme of Good Girl vs. Bad Girl.

The Rules:
1. The image must portray some idea of Good vs. Bad.
2. Contest is open to any medium.
3. You may submit as many entries as you want.
4. You can either submit one deviation that uses both of our stock, OR you may submit two different deviations, one representing "good" and one representing "bad" using a photo from *PersephoneStock for one and a photo from *intergalacticstock for the other.
However, if you choose the second option, you must submit two images to qualify.
4. You must include at least a brief explanation in your description as to what your deviation means, and have a link to our contest.

To submit your image, send a note to BOTH *intergalacticstock AND *PersephoneStock with "Contest Submission" as the subject and a link to your deviation.

There will be *five winners: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Submissions will be judged on three elements. Firstly, we'll look at how visually pleasing it is. Next we'll take into account creativity and originality. And lastly, don't be discouraged if you're not the very best artist here on DeviantArt, because we'll also be looking at effort. Not necissarily skill level or talent, but the amount of work you put into the deviation.
